New minimum flight mileage policy
Effective for all flights flown on or after July 1, 2008, flight segments of less than 500 miles on United®, United Express®, TedSM, Star Alliance and partner airlines will accrue the actual number of miles flown.

Star Alliance Network
When you fly one of the airlines below, you can elect to have your Mileage
Plus® account credited with the miles from your trip. If you are a Red
Carpet Club® or Star Alliance™ Gold member, or have your United
First® or United Business® boarding pass with you, you will have
access to Star Alliance Gold lounges and business lounges throughout the Star

Our Mileage Plus® airline partners offer you travel award opportunities
to more than 800 major business and leisure destinations on six continents. Miles earned are for paid, qualifying flights only. Individual airlines may

operated by other airlines, from earning miles.
